The majority of Air Compressors are manufactured in Cold countries, and are standard equipment very suitable in their countries.
When supply to Malaysia ( Hot & High Humidity )!
there are many challenges:
1.
They are not able to load fully for a longer period. They need to unload to reduce the operation temperature.
The most inefficient operation is when the compressor is off-load; they consume from 30% to 60% of Full Load Current, and not producing air.
2.
Therefore, they are not energy efficient. They usually oversized to allow it to off-load.
